Decorative carvings are found on the interior and exterior walls of traditional Hejazi houses. Students on the Diploma learn gypsum and lime plaster decorative techniques including carving, piercing and glass application. They learn all the preparatory steps required to make the gypsum panels before applying the motifs and begin carving.
